Senior Java Developer / Tech Lead
Our partner develops ICT solutions and manages healthcare systems for doctors, medical centers, public and hospital pharmacies, medical specialists and integrated primary care organizations. With innovative developments we are contributing to high quality, affordable, effective and accessible care. Together we provide care to approximately 8.5 million patients. From these many products we are developing a management information tool for GPs, which offers real time patient management and patient related information. It allows GP and healthcare professionals to access, share and exchange patients’ medical records also manages finances (online insurance checks and integration with health insurers). Typical within the system are the strong medical content functionalities and extensive integration capabilities with third parties. It makes use of open communication standards and is thus to pair with all medical information.
Position Overview: A software developer uses specific languages to develop applications to meet specific project objectives. The best software developers will have a combination of finely tuned knowledge of Java programming language, Spring, Spring Boot, Maven/Ant/Gradle, ORMs(JPA – Hibernate), SQL, SOAP and REST Services, WebLogic, Message queue protocol (RabbitMq, Amqp Rpc), Java8, GIT, Jenkins. Good knowledge about AOP, Interceptors.
It is very important for the occupant of this position to have a good ability to understand the architecture of the system design and where their contribution fits into the overall project scope. The ability to effectively communicate with the client to adequately understand the desired outcome of the software application being developed is also a needed skill, whereas a cross-functional cooperation and understanding of other developer roles is essential to ultimate success.
Reports to the Delivery Manager.
Past background should have included complete life-cycle development experience that includes working with other developers, clients and/or end-users through the beta-testing and implementation phases of the project. Very important, he/she must have a good scalability and performance understanding.
Should be comfortable working and adopting the Agile software development methodology and tools, focusing on sustainable development. As well as having a product mindset and an iterative approach to the design and development of software which allows to break the lengthy requirements, build, and test phases down into smaller segments, ultimately delivering working software quickly and more frequently.
