What is most needed: 

• experience with Java 8 and OOP is a must, the rest can be taught.
• 2+ years of experience with proven records of your professional experience and success in the projects you worked for;
• the disponibility to demonstrate your role and technical excellence in a large-scale project team;

What else matters:

• Understanding and basic knowledge of C, since some servers are written in this language.
• Experience with SQL; knowledge of PL/SQL and/or ETL is a plus.
• They also appreciate the experience with the Spring framework. On the front-end side, theyuse web technologies and design principles like MVC and MVVM.
• Since they connect their products with the customer's infrastructure, knowledge about Web Services, JMS, JSON, and XML is required.
• Their software runs on different platforms; hence you need to be familiar with Linux and Windows Server Operating systems.
• Their customers are all over the world and they have offices in many locations around the world, therefore good spoken and written English communication skills are required.
